If you missed Parents’ Weekend 2007, you missed the fabulous “Ceremony of Beating Retreat” performed by KP’s own Regimental Band! This DVD captures the 2-hour show that will knock your socks off! The Nassau County Police Pipes and Drums join in the pageantry of the evening that ends with an inspiring rendition of  “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and “Scotland the Brave.” Full program is included (see below).

This is not a “professional” video. It is shot on a tripod in an indoor, low-light setting. The sound and clarity are very good, but the color is not true. Despite this, it is a magnificent event to see if you are a lover  of Kings Point and all things patriotic. The Midshipmen’s execution of best-loved marches is second to none!
