Mid-Atlantic Parents Association Annual Picnic & Spring Meeting to Welcome the Class of 2014 Saturday, 24 April 2010 12:00-1500 Rain or Shine - our picnic area is covered U.S. Coast Guard TISCOM Headquarters, Alexandria, VA IMPORTANT: You MUST have proof of auto insurance or you will not be allowed on base! Cost: $15.00 per family (collected at picnic/checks preferred). This will cover the cost of hamburgers, hotdogs, and beverages. In addition each family is requested to bring a covered dish to share as follows: LAST NAME A-N: SIDE DISH O-Z: DESSERT

Our MissionThe Mission of the United States Merchant Marine Academy Parents’ Mid-Atlantic Parents Association is to promote and support the Academy, its goals, programs and objectives, its Regiment of Midshipmen, faculty, staff and alumni. We will also serve as a support organization for Plebe Candidates, their families and all Midshipmen and their families from the Mid-Atlantic region during their years at the Academy.

The money we collect through membership dues and fundraising supports our midshipmen at Kings Point. Some of the things we do is host pizza parties during the year, send goody bags for finals at each trimester and offer tickets to the annual Joint Service Academy Ball.
